We are seeking experienced Civil Supervisors to oversee a range of civil infrastructure projects across utilities, bulk earthworks and road construction. These roles involve supervising works such as water, sewer, drainage, bulk earthworks and associated civil services, ensuring all activities are delivered safely, to specification and in line with project programs.
You will play a critical role in driving on-site performance, maintaining strong safety standards and ensuring works are delivered efficiently and compliantly.
About the Role
Reporting to the Site Manager and Project Managers, you will be responsible for managing daily site operations, coordinating subcontractors and crews, and ensuring high standards across safety, quality and programme delivery. Strong communication skills and thorough handover reporting will be essential to maintaining project momentum.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise civil infrastructure works across utilities, bulk earthworks and road construction, including water, sewer, drainage and associated services
- Coordinate subcontractors and daily site activities to meet short-term construction programs
- Promote and enforce WHS, environmental and quality compliance
- Maintain detailed site diaries and daily reporting
- Lead toolbox talks, site inspections and implement risk controls
- Ensure works are delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications and sequencing requirements
About You
- Trade qualification with a minimum of 5 years’ experience supervising civil utilities or infrastructure works
- Proven experience managing subcontractors and multiple work fronts
- Strong understanding of working around live services and public interfaces
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and manage site sequencing
- Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving capability
- Current driver’s licence and First Aid certificate
- Must hold class room based White Card
