We are seeking experienced and reliable Civil Pipelayers to join our civil construction team. You will be working on a range of projects including roadworks, drainage, earthworks, subdivisions, and general civil maintenance.
Numerous project sites throughout SA, operating Monday to Friday, with Saturday work scheduled as needed. Some positions may require early morning starts or nightshift.
Duties Will Include:
- Read and interpret plans to specifications and standards
- Experience setting up, cutting and installing RCP, PVC storm water
- Experience with MSCL pipe (advantage)
- Experience setting up lasers/levels and install concrete stormwater pits
- Experience in setting levels and laying PVC sewer pipes
- Lay, align and level pipes for stormwater, sewer, and water infrastructure according to project specifications
- Assisting with trenching, backfilling, and compaction
- Working safely around plant and machinery
- Adhering to site safety and quality requirements
- Interest and ability to coordinate, motivate and train others in the team with less experience if required.
To Be Successful:
- Previous pipelaying experience (essential)
- White Card obtained within a classroom
- Additional tickets and licences highly regarded
- Physically fit and safety focused
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Minimum of 2 contactable references within the last 6 months
- Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical/Drug and Alcohol
